We’d love to get to know you over a cup of coffee! When you arrive on a Sunday morning, you will be offered complimentary coffee & tea, which we enjoy together before the service. This is just one way that we try to cultivate a friendly, hospitable community at Vineyard.
WHAT HAPPENS ON A TYPICAL SUNDAY?
Our services begin at 9 or 11 AM, come early to enjoy some snacks, coffee and tea, and an opportunity to greet one another, make new friends, and get the whole family checked in via the Connect station or the Church Center App. We join in song to worship God beginning at 9am or 11am. After worshipping through music, we dismiss the Kindergarten through 8th grade students to head to their Sunday school classroom (Elementary is at 9am service and Youth at 11am). Then we sit down together, and Cody our pastor, or someone else from our community, will share a message from the Bible. After the message, we respond to what we have heard through song and prayer. After the service, people often linger to chat, catch up, pray together, and (of course) drink more coffee!
WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?
If you have children in Pre-K or younger and you’d like them to attend a kids’ class, our greeters will direct you toward our CONNECT check-in area when you arrive. Then they can head to the Nursery for the duration of service (either service). Children Kindergarten to 5th grade also get name tags at check in, then they can join their parents in the auditorium for worship, and head to their classroom between worship and the message during the 9am service only. We have great children’s and youth ministries, and we encourage your children to take part.
However, you’re also welcome to have your child of any age join you in the auditorium for the duration of the service. In addition to our monitored classrooms, we also have a Bonus Room where the service is live streamed. You may need a place to calm, change or nurse a baby, or maybe you just need a minute outside of the auditorium…whatever the reason, this space is for you and your kids!
