FIRST THINGS FIRST
We’d love to get to know you over a cup of coffee! When you arrive on a Sunday morning, you will be offered complimentary coffee, tea, and pastries, which we enjoy together before the service. This is just one way that we try to cultivate a friendly, hospitable community at Vineyard.
WHAT HAPPENS ON A TYPICAL SUNDAY?
Our service begins at 9:30 AM, come early to enjoy some snacks, coffee and tea, and an opportunity to greet one another and make new friends. We join in song to worship God. After worshipping through music, we dismiss the Kindergarten through 12th grade children to head to their Sunday school classroom. Then we sit down together, and Cody our pastor, or someone else from our community will share a message from the Bible. After the message, we respond to what we have heard through song and prayer. After the service, people often linger to chat, catch up, pray together, and (of course) drink more coffee.
WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?
If you have children in Pre-K or younger and you’d like them to attend a kids’ class, our greeters will direct you toward our children’s table for check-in when you arrive. Children Kindergarten to 8th grade can join their parents in the auditorium for worship, and then go to their classroom between worship and the message. We have great children’s and youth ministries, and we encourage your children to take part. However, if you prefer, you’re also welcome to have your child of any age join you in the auditorium for the duration of the service.
Please take a look at our Next Steps page to see how to get connected during and after your visit.
